341mL bottle: Has an appetizing aroma with fruity notes. Gorgeous, clear brown-amber color with thick frothy tan head. Flavor is strong and complex: Hops, yeast, roatsed malts, coffee, apricot. Well carbonated palate that settles well. Have this one with a hearty meal or on its own. I was awestruck by this one the minute I uncapped and poured it!

Dec 26, 2008 12 oz bottle from Ralphs Palm Springs. Nose of light floral hops, a light peach note, sweetness, and caramel. Clear copper with a medium oatmeal colored head. Flavor was lots of caramelly malt, light hop bitterness, and some fruitiness. Would make a good session beer.

Dec 26, 2008 Dark amber with a thin tan head. Aroma is a light maltiness, caramel, dark fruit. Taste is a light hoppiness, with plenty of crystal malt, light earthiness.

Dec 26, 2008 Un peu moins fruiter qu une esb, une amertume de houblon moyenne mais avec une presence aromatique intensifier. Presence d un peu de caramel. Tres bonne.
Less fruity than a esb, medium hop bitterness with a more intense aromatic presence. A touch of caramel. Very good.

Dec 22, 2008 Amber pour with a small white head. Subtle malt nose with a dash of hops and some biscuity yeast. Flavor is lightly bitter hops over a nice caramel malt backbone. Good.

Dec 16, 2008 Pours slightly hazed amber with a bit of white head. Sort of an orange hop aroma with some buttery malt. Flavor is citrus and caramel. Pretty easy drinking. I would drink it again if I end up in Canada.
