patricks110 (142), Alberta, Canada Jul 21, 2008 A remarkable amber brown colour with a medium sixed creamy head. An aroma of floral hops and citrusy frutis. A great beer for sitting on a patio. Crisp, bitter, but not overpowering beer that has a fairly normal mouthfeel and a great appearance. Overall, a great beer. Had at Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary, AB.
vyvvy (1607), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Aug 16, 2008 Pours clear bronze with a soapy tan head. The aroma has caramel malt that is fairly dry and soapy with a hint of hops and signs of diacetyl. Medium crisp body with a good amount of bite and semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with some phenolic spice and some spicy hops. The hops come out a bit more on the finish. Fair at best wcampbell (411), Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 16, 2008 Pretty interesting beer. Slightly different touch on the APA style. Creamy mouthfeel and full flavor. Well balanced. Some spice and hops complement the wheaty malt flavor nicely. Lightly fruity finish. Skidds (172), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 15, 2008 So far this is the best Pale Ale I have ever had. A very well crafted beer all around Highly recommended. demdeac40 (137), Hendersonville, North Carolina, USA Aug 14, 2008 Pours gold with a big white head. NIce nose, full of fruit and floral. Underlying sweetness that is very tempting. Nice and full in the mouth. Great malts with that nice hint of licorice. Finishes with a nice hop bitterness. TURDFERGUSON (1115), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 13, 2008 Drank this one out of the bottle as well while playing a game of frisbee golf horse with Lucas. Noticed a little bit of diacetyl in the nose and flavor, but luckily, it didn’t make this completely undrinkable. Flavor has some good hops and malts, but nothing the stands out too much. Drinkable, but far from memorable.
