Belle bière cuivrée, bon col un peu beige bien résistant, parfaitement limpide, bonne effervescence. Arômes surtout houblonnées, subtil caramel. Onctuosité intéressante, corps moyen, pas très pétillante en bouche, plutôt mousseuse. Bière bien malté, malt fumé se mélangeant à un goût caramélisé, céréales grillées, houblons et amertume bien présents en fin de bouche, mais tout de même légers.

473 mL can. An excellent pale ale. Pours a light brown with a modest head that dissipates quickly. Hoppy aroma. Nicely balanced on the tongue. Nice long slightly bitter finish. Really well done.

July 2010. Bottle. Floral and hoppy aromas. Pours orange with a white head. Aromas of pine, citrus and grass. Good balance and a nice hoppy finish.

On tap at Bitter Tasting Room in downtown Vancouver. Served in a straight up stein. A very large pour in my world. A very nice pale ale with generous amounts of caramel. The alleged hops aren’t coming through for me, at least not yet.

Lovely basic beer! Pours light amber with some head and tons of lacing. Nose is fruity but quiet. Aromas of apples, cereal,’some cereal, some grassy hops. Tastes are light sweet and light bitter. Medium to light body with lively carbonation.

On tap @ Supply and Demand Ottawa. Aromas are damp old carpet and sweet cereal. Tastes are grain, honey, biscuit, mild hop and a little alcohol. Light body, creamy, and a short, mildly bitter finish. Nice pale ale.

2013/04/28 - Pours a clear orange gold color, with a fluffy white head that laces nicely. Aroma is biscuit, caramel and floral hops. Taste is caramel sweet up front, with a bitter hoppy aftertaste Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation and a crisp finish.

Can. Pours a clear golden with a fluffy white head that doesn’t stay for too long and leaves no lacing to speak of. Aroma is fruity with a few noble hops notes. Taste medium sweetness with a little bitterness that prevents it from becoming cloying. Mouthfeel is a bit thin with a correct amount of carbonation. Overall: drink this cool and relax, not much to ponder about there.

Bouteille 341ml. De couleur ambrée et claire. Nez de malt du genre caramel, léger de houblon herbeux aux notes florales et fruitées (agrumes, traces d’abricots). Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen ainsi qu’une texture légèrement huileuse. Léger goût de caramel avec des notes fruitées (agrumes, traces d’abricots) dès l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute une légère amertume de houblon herbeux aux notes florales puis en finale l’on retrouve des traces de biscuits. Post-goût moyen, composé d’une légère-moyenne amertume de houblon herbeux aux notes florales avec un léger goût sucré de caramel qui reste en bouche. (2006)

Tasted in October 2011. Aroma: Malted, caramel.
Appearance: Blond with gold glints, thick, creamy and long lasting head.
Taste: Attack is a good mix of bitterness and caramel. Slightly acid mouth feel. Finish is hoppy but not harsh. Good pale ale.
