This big, bold, bitter IPA not only shows off a super hop kick but a depth of orange, apricot and ropical fruit flavours that are both refreshing and complex. Crammed full of four aromatic hop varieties, a fantastically tasty beer.

Bottle. Bought in St. Andrews. Pours a golden colour, moderately carbonated -- true to the British style. Very pleasant balance of hops which makes for a drinkable and not too aggressive ipa, with a sweet tail. Nice!

keg at the brewery
moderately bitter and medium bodied, some piney notes but lacking in aroma. slightly undercarbonated for that expected for a kegged beer- explained to be conditioned key keg to keep CAMRA happy - a shame brewery feels necessity to do this.

Bottle. Light amber colour, slightly hazy. Good sized white head, long lasting. Aroma of ripe fruit, orange & grapefruit. Bitter citrus taste, very little sweetness. Gradual fade of taste, but long lasting. Refreshing and very easy to drink. Drank with a hot a spicy curry, perfect.

Bottle from Fine Wine Company (Portobello). Clear gold pour with a minimal white head. Ripe orange, kumquat, passion fruit aromas. A subtle bitterness ensures that the flavours aren’t subdued too much, there’s also a touch of sweetness that takes the edge off the hop bitterness. Average carbonation and a decent finish. Overall a very good beer. I like this a lot.

Lightly hazy gold beer, tidy off white head. Palate is airy and dry. Modest fine carbonation. Light airy malt, dry. Mellow pithy orange and orange peel. Airy dry finish. Mild bitter linger. Light and pleasant enough.
