Bottle (330ml). Clear bright yellow beer with an average white head. Sweet grainy malt aromas with citrussy hops. Tastes sweet with a mild hop bitterness. Nice clean palate of medium-light body. Could do a lot worse...
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 17, 2010
Draught. A strong malt base with a touch of honey coming through as it warmed. Was a bit hard to finish.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 hawthorne00 (1861) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2010
Pours light gold. Bright white head. High bead. Aroma has floral/ citrus hops and a rather odd and muddled malt mixture. Some cooked vegies too. The taste is kind of right - there’s firm malt with some sweetness, then a bit of hop bitterness. The hop profile seems a bit smudged, too. Odd cardboard/ metal finish.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 kahn (48) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 26, 2010

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jonno (2013) - JAPAN - NOV 14, 2009
Tap. Nose is almost totally honey. Mouth is honey with a nice pilsner profile. Certainly not what I expected. Honey is not my favourite, but this was a well made beer. Don’t know If I would want more than one though.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Dervock (309) - Emu plains, AUSTRALIA - SEP 5, 2009
Bottle - Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Initally you get a nice hit of hops but then there is a hin of bublegum. After the op aroma the taste is a bit of a let down, there is a mild floral citrus flavour, but not real dry finish as would be expected. If the flavour matched the expectation the aroma built this would be a nice beer!
