COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for St Arnou by AIB.

In the true Belgian style, this beer is cloudy with a fine white head. Coriander, oranges, ginger and other citrus notes predominate before giving way to a dry, refreshing, clean finish. One of the world’s oldest beer styles, this beer is an ideal summer drink.

Very true to the style of Belgium wit for such a widely available and Australian brewed beer. Very nice esters produced from good fermentation (mixture of picking a good yeast and using it at the right temperatures...) nice cloudy light aperance....

On tap. Offers no real surprises, but executes its role as a tasty witbier with aplomb. Subtle fruity aroma, and a smooth, pleasant finish.

7 July 2005 - Fruity citrus and hop aroma. Cloudy light yellow colour with low head and sheet lacing. Sweet big fruit and wheat flavour and low hops. Low bitterness, lingering sweet fruit and thickish beer.

Draught at Sherlock Holmes, Melbourne. Cloudy pale yellow. Neutral aroma. Light bodied with rounded wheat malt character. Really mild and lightly yeasty. Unassuming.

A decent, if uninspired wit. Beautiful on a hot Queensland day at the Regatta with the typical orange-coriander flavors and light body. Has a pale cloudy appearance with a big fluffy head. Fine, nothing out of the ordinary.

A wonderful appearance from the pour, and a good example of witbier. Always going to struggle up against the class of Hoegaarden, but certainly a worth contender.

on tap. pretty weird sulphuric nose suggesting something went wrong but as with 3 ravens blond, i would say it made the beer more interesting. hazy yellow, lightly lemony with faint compost and some fruit tella sweetness

Tried this at the Regatta.Thought this was pretty thin with just enough of the witbier characteristics appearing to make it recognisable as a witbier.

On tap at the Regatta. Can’t believe I haven’t rated this already. A fair attempt at the style. Some spice and citrus in the nose. Relatively thin body with citrus to the fore. Clean finish.
