Commercial Description:
Generally only available bottle conditioned.
Previously brewed at 5.0%.
Pale yellow in color and naturally conditioned in the bottle, the beer may be poured cloudy by gently swirling the last few inches to rouse the natural yeast sediment. Alternatively, clear beer can be decanted carefully leaving the yeast behind. Either way serve cool in a tall glass for a superbly refreshing wheat beer of character and individuality. Only natural ingredients are used including our own supply of exceptionally soft Cornish spring water. Malted wheat produces a beer with a citrus tang which has been delicately flavoured with whole spices and vanilla. The combination of flavors is brought alive by gently sweetening with pure organic maple syrup.
Ingredients: Maris Otter pale malt, whaet malt. Willamette hops. Vanilla pods, cloves, coriander, maple syrup.

Rare species: half decent English wheat beer. Somewhere between a wit, hefe and lager. Pours with a slight orange dustiness with all the bits in and a fine white collar. Pretty neutral lagery aroma with honey, vanilla and faint banana esters. Clean and slick on the palate with more pronounced banana, clove, vanilla and orange barley. Sweet aftertaste of digestives and sherbet lemons. Not bad, but makes me long for something riper and more authentic.

Bottle (in NZ). Very lively pour, a light gold with a large frothy head. A sweet wheat aroma, hinting of fruit salad, but also peppery. Ground spice in the mouth - cloves and cardamon. A spicy and effervescent palate, with a dry raw wheat finish. Not a stand out, but a good neutral Belgian Wit.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of citrus as well as lighter notes of wheat. The flavor is sweet wheaty combined with notes of citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle conditioned. Poured a nice gold colour with a long lasting white head. The aroma is full of spices, the taste is of spices and a hint of bananas. The finish is very soft and dry.
