Good aroma of nuts and roasted malt. Fairly bitter on the tongue, malt dominates with mild spicyness and hints of wood and nuts. Not much of a head. Fine session ale, nothing remarkable.

Thanks to Finn H. for sharing a 500ml bottle at The Cove, Covent Garden. Clear amber with a decent off-white head. Dusty, sweet malts to the nose. Light spiced fruity taste on a caramel malty foundation. Dry bitter endnotes. Refreshing and likeable (London, 03.08.2009).
