Bottle. Quite malty, cerealy, toffee. Kinda sweet and rubbery as well. Finish shows some slightly earthy hops. In fact the whole mouth feel is quite earthy. Feels a bit stale again, i’m guessing due to pasteurisation.

Gaffney (22) - St Andrews, SCOTLAND - JAN 15, 2007
A beautifully clear beer with a caramel - almost golden syrup - like flavour. While the off-white head is short lived, the dark orange body is full of fruity malts, some hops, and a most surprising spicy finish. Gets better as the glass empties.

Fin (6180) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 25, 2006
Bottle from SH Jones, Bicester, 23-09-06. Fairly standard brown colour beer with reasonable sized off white head. Some malts and fruits in the aroma, taste also rather malty and a touch caramelly sweetness, finishing with some bitterness. Fine enough.

StueyD (812) - Heacham, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUL 16, 2006
dark copper brown coloured beer with a thickish off white head. The nose is distinctly malty, sweet with a hint of caramel, plus a little hop. The taste is predominantly malty, sweet, toasted, and slightly nutty. There is a caramel, biscuity flavour, that is followed by a dry hoppy finish. (Bottle, purchased from the Beers of Europe, Setchey, Norfolk).
