Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Our most famous and notorious ale. HSD is a full-bodied strong Cornish ale brimming with a kaleidoscope of flavours. Brewed with plenty of malt and lashings of English Fuggles and Golding hops, HSD is truly a classic ale of considerable depth and complexity.

On cask at the Wharf in Aalborg. Very malty/hop smell. Tastes of caramel and malt with a bitter finish. Maybe made from 60° crystal malts. Very tasty.

Cask at The Wharf, Aalborg, Denmark. Golden amber color with an off-white head. Aroma of raisins, dried fruit, wood, caramel, and bitter hops. Taste of dried fruit, toffee, raisins, roasted malt, nuts and a hoppy finish.

Cask. For a cask I guess this head is high creamy off-white and long lasting. Clear dark brown body. Weak berries caramel aroma. Flavor mild round relatively sweet caramel fruityness but with far more bitterness than expected. Low carbonation, long bitter aftertaste.

Cask @ Charlies. Clear and golden coloured with almost no head. Quite nice and refreshing with a very crispy feel - notes of straw, bread, malts and hops.
