500ml bottle from M&S Camberley. Bright gold with a loose off-white head; citrus aroma; soft with a good bitter grapefruit flavour, although somewhat sweet; some bitterness to finish. Very pleasant.

Deep gold with a diminishing white head and a few floaties (oops). Fine resinous snout packed with juicy citrus, grapefruit and fresh sweaty hop resins. Big ripe citrus and conifer punching softly with bitterness and mellowed by pale biscuity malt. Mandarin, lychee, all of that. Pretty tangy a/ipa. Uncle John couldn’t handle it.

Picked up at Oxford Summertown branch of M+S 26-06-08 Pours warm golden with a white medium head. Fresh hops come off of the nose and there is a slight piney note along with some citrus. Tastes quite soft in the mouth and maybe there is just a touch too much sweetness with only a thin edge of bitterness. This is quite nice but considering they used Chinook, Cascade and Willamete I’m surprised that they couldn’t have wrung just a bit more out of them to create an even better beer, still not bad at all.
