3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at the Old Contemptiblea, Birmingham. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head and a little broken lace. The aroma is malty, but somewhat weak. The flavour is medium to weak bitter, with some malt and mild hoppiness in the palate. Itís a truly inoffensive pale ale and its precisely what it says on the label!

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bitter hoppy ale with a weak tone of fruit. Associations to cough syrup, BBQ-sauce, outwatered whisky and dates. Robust aftertaste. Despite the forceful taste it feels a bit thin; the overall impression is, however, well-spiced and endurant. Coloured like a dark pilsner og a light amber ale. Anonymous foam. Unfortunately only available in Nicholson-pubs.
