Weíre both excited and overjoyed to announce that all Nicholsonís pubs are now proudly serving Nicholsonís Pale Ale, brewed exclusively by St. Austell just for us.
Beautifully crafted by world renowned master brewer Roger Ryman, this is a classic cask conditioned English Pale Ale (4% ABV), and represents both companiesí passion and drive in delivering quality ale which can be enjoyed in the typical British pub atmosphere that Nicholsonís offers.

The Shakespeare next to New Street, Birmingham, 07/09/13. Deep bronze with a level cream collar. Gentle aroma approaching utter nothing. Some dank woods. Better (some) flavour with buttered Hovis biscuit, flowery iced tea, decent orange rind and cordial notes. Annoyingly soapy but essentially decent.
