"Light, clear and refreshing with an assertive hop bitterness, Proper Job IPA is based on a traditional IPA recipe which makes it perfect for long, hot summer days."

From pint bottle. Pours a clear golem with just a wispy head and large bubbles. Aromas are quite light but there’s some lemon, grass and a hint of stonefruit in there. Taste is better, with rounded sweet malt punched up with crisp grapefruit bitterness. Clean finish with a gentle apple-like aftertaste. Maybe not a classical English style IPA but a nice refreshing beer nonetheless.

A well hopped, gold coloured brew. Head dissipates, leaving a few sad looking islands in the middle of the glass. Good full flavour, citrus hops and good malt. Finish is long and lingering, nice IPA.

Bright pale amber with a lasting white head. Floral grapefruity aroma with hay and some spices. Creamy texture, fairly high carbonation. Hay and lots of citrus - oranges as well as grapefruit - with a dry and bitter finish. Very refreshing. Fine beer.

A mid amber coloured beer with a thickish white head. A light hop aroma, fruity, floral and piney. Dry mouthfeel. A mildly bitter taste, hoppy, floral, as the label suggests, elderflower, and citrusy, then a piney grassiness. The finish is long and lingering with all the hoppy elements.

Pale malts, honey, citrus and some floral notes in the aroma. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a average carbonation. Overall a nicely balanced IPA, typical English.
