"Light, clear and refreshing with an assertive hop bitterness, Proper Job IPA is based on a traditional IPA recipe which makes it perfect for long, hot summer days."

A gift from Oliver. Light, bronze towards yellow, little foam. Metallic meaty aroma. Taste of toffee, metal with strong metallic hoppy aftertaste.

Very hoppy brew pours golden from the bottle with little or no head. No after taste I found it to have a delicate fruity taste as well ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear gold with not much head. Aromas of lychee, peaches, grass and black pepper. Flavour is similar with an earthy linger.

Kolor: Bursztynowy, lekko zamglony.
Piana: Biała, lekka, zwiewna, drobnooczkowa. Przy gwałtownym nalewaniu kurczy się do 2-3cm. Umiarkowane krążkowanie na szkle.
Zapach: Słodki, karmelowy. Potem popcorn i maślana nuta. Dalej trochę owoców tropikalnych - słodkie mango i papaja. W kontrze do nich akcenty żywicy i delikatna siarka.
Smak: Ponownie słodowa, karmelowa słodycz. Zaraz za nią trochę brązowego cukru. Następnie mocno dojrzałe mango, ananas i papaja. Daleko w tle skórka od grejpfruta. Słodkie nuty prowadzą w stronę wytrawnego, grejpfrutowego finiszu. Goryczka jest długa, mocna, trochę zalegajaca. Przez długi czas oplata język cierpką otoczką. Ciało średnie i średnia pijalność.
Wysycenie: Średnie.
Takie sobie APA z marketu. Kupione w Tesco w Anglii w cenie Ł2.

Kind of ok. Nothing really distinguishing, astonishing or discriminating. Good first bite with a frizzling taste, but pitifully it doesn’t hold long.

A golden ale with a sharply bitter pine and citrus flavour followed by a delicate hoppy, warming toffee and herbal fruity finish. Bottle Conditioned.

Always put off by this because of the name ’Proper Job’, sounded like a bad clip art 90s CAMRA ale before Americans made beer nice. Seriously though, it’s a nice beer. Fresh as fuck and a good follow up flavour after the initial enjoyable taste. As for the glass....it was quickly emptied and did not require washing. I refilled it with a second Proper Job. Now THAT’S Proper Job ;-)
