"Light, clear and refreshing with an assertive hop bitterness, Proper Job IPA is based on a traditional IPA recipe which makes it perfect for long, hot summer days."

500ml bottle with b/b 08/16. Pours almost crystal clear pale gold with small white head dissipating gradually. Gentle carbonation. Aroma of apricot and some pineapple. Flavours of sweetish grapefruit and pineapple with light malt. Medium mouth feel. Hop bitterness in finish with light citrus. Taste is more mellow when the yeast is added. Very nice ale.

The aroma has the somewhat fruity, and although it is a little difficult to decide which fruit it secretes, but apricot is at least one of the fruits. The taste is partly malty, semi-dry and nice hoppy mouth feel with a light finale of fruit, again with apricot as the main weight. It is a very real and tasty type pale ale, there is not so intrusive that many US pale ale’s may be. Beautiful brewed and well-balanced pale ale where all flavors have been enrolled in the spectrum.

Fresh citrus and bitter fruity aroma, as the label says. Hazy pale appearance. High bitterness balanced with light-medium sweetness. Light body and average carbonation. I was positively surprised about this beer!

Bottle at home. Pours orange-gold in colour, small white head that soon fades. Lovely aroma of rich, resin hop, with pine and floral notes. Taste is slightly sweet, then hugely bitter. Rich malt, biscuit and fruit notes. Rich palate and quite well carbonated. Very nice indeed.

Great looking beer - clear golden amber with good dense white head. Lovely hop aroma - lemon, grapefruit, stone fruit, floral notes. Light body with plentiful carbonation. Great taste - nice balance of hop bitterness and biscuity light malt. Very nice IPA - great balance, plenty of hops without being aggressive.

Bottle @ Ship Inn, Mevagissey. Golden with a small creamy head. Has a good fuller-bodied texture with an easy-drinking and lightly malty character.

Golden lager like in appearance. The aroma is pine and fruit. Lemon but maybe orange as well. A bit grassy as well. The flavour has a moderate sherbety sweetness and high levels of bitterness but in a zesty way and in no way unpleasant. Smooth carbonation from the bottle conditioning. Good beer, a bit like Brewdog’s Punk IPA.

500ml bottle served in a pint glass. A: Pours a slightly hazy yellow color Forming a medium and light bubbled white head with low retention and practically no lacings left in the glass. S: Very hoppy nose. Strong notes of grassy Cascade style hops. Pine and citrus notes. Strong notes of adorable Maris Otter pale malts. Grapefruit and apricot. Hop flowers. Crispy and bready. Great. T: Slightly sweet upfront. Strong notes of Maris Otter pale malts followed by a intense hops flavor. A mix of grass, citrus and piny hops. In overall, a quite dry and crispy taste, despite the strong fruity notes: a mix of grapefruit and apricot. Hints of orange zest. M: Light to medium body. Average carbonation. Grass, pine and grapefruit in the aftertaste. O: Good drinkability. Great Pale Ale.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours clear golden with some sediment. Aromas of biscuity malts, citrus. Taste is crispy hoppy, bitter, grapefruit, biscuit, citrus. Definitely one of the best beers you can find in a supermarket.
