4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
The Beeriest Beer in Beerdom. This is what a really good Ale used to taste like decades ago. Bitter, Hops++, Malty, a real experience in ’proper’ beer. ’Proper Job’ - Absolutely!.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
One of my favourite IPAs. Wonderful citrusy aromas, very complex hop tastes with a beautiful, bittersweet finish and a refreshing (but by no means flimsy) body.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Gold with a thin white head. Nose is really interesting and moreish. Like peach sherbert with mangoes and pineapples. Taste is really fresh. Mango, tangerine, peach and grapefruit. Keeps you going back for another sip and a swill to get the full extent of the taste. Finish is long, bitter, moreish. A cracker.

Bottle from Tesco, Longton. A surprise for me this was. A really fruity IPA, good drink. Hopefully I’ll see it on cask somewhere.

Bottled. Beautifully flowery and creamy. Soft palate, tangerine and light grapefruit flavours, with just a hint of pepperiness late on. Really impressive bottled beer

It says "Powerfully Hopped" and that’s true. Fresh, aroma with citrus and tropical fruits. Fruity in the flavour too giving a pleasant juicy, sweet taste with a good hit of fresh green hop. It’s not overpowering though.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle): Pours a hazy gold/orange with a big white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon zest but not much else, a bit weak yet inoffensive. The flavour however is really good. Grapefruit, oranges, lemon, malt, pine notes in a great balance. Bitterness is slightly muted (As with most English IPA’s) which balances so well with the sweet malt.
