This beer has to rank among the best I have ever tasted. Beautiful pine citrus aromas upon the nose due to Williamette hops, along with a bold attack of cascade, Chinook that dances across the tongue. Despite being heavily hopped, this ale balances out nicely with malty sweetness. A gorgeous ale!!

5.5%ABV. IPA. Tapped out gold. 6ºSRM. Nose is beery and laager-like. Mouthfeel is carbonated. Palate is honey, honey comb, wheat malt and pale malt. Hops are lightly bitter with some vegetal tanin. Clean finish. Good effort and was a pleasure tasting something new.

UPDATED: APR 7, 2016 500ml bottle. Pours golden with a smooth medium white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrussy, grapefruit, pine. Taste is much the same, citrussy hops and grapefruit. Bitter hop finish. To be honest it could have done being even more hoppier to fit the "Powerfully Hopped" label, but it was a good IPA.

From a bottle. Better than expected, enough hops to be interesting, probably would have been a lot better when fresh but still pretty good.

Bottle 50cl. Poured into a pint glass. Clear medium amber, good two finger fothy off-white head, half-way lasting, fair lacing; fruity nose, pale malts, orange, tropical fruits, pine, grass; taste medium sweet and bitter, grainy, fruity, with a average duration, sweetbitter finish, fruity and spice notes; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; solid drinkable pale ale.

Nice looking IPA, pours Amber with reasonable off white head. Quite a strong hoppy flavour with a bitter aftertaste. Will certainly, have this beer again.

Bue en bouteille de 50cl à la maison. Couleur blonde, mousse peu présente et belle effervescence. Nez sur le coing et le citron. Attaque très citronnée en bouche avec une pointe de menthe et continuité sur le coing. Assez corpulente et piquante.

Bottle at a friend’s house. It was either this or Badger Firkin Fox so I had this, she had the Firkin Fox and both of us agreed that we’d made the right choice. Golden in colour, light and clear with not a lot of obvious head. Smell is a bit buttery and somewhat malty, so the hoppy fruit is a bit muted. It comes out in the bittersweet (but more bitter than sweet) taste: a burst of mango, grapefruit and lemonade. Bitter satisfying finish. Simple but quite tasty.

Aroma: could have been better but still a bit of hay, grass, white grapefruit, lime Appearance: light amber, medium head disappears rather quickly Taste: dry, medium to high bitter Palate: nice bitter finish A solid IPA or rather AIPA (Chinook+ Cascade). Very drinkable but lacks the wow factor.

I think the APA deScription is nearer the mark than the IPA label, but it certainly uses the American hops well and is very drinkable. Clear gold with a thin covering of white head. Medium body and well carbonated. Tastes fresh and fruity, well supported by caramel malt. Bit of fresh grass too. Good job.
