Bottle: Fruity, hoppy aroma with mainly notes of citrus. Flavor is light malty, light sweetness and intensive aroma hop notes with citrus and citrus peel. Dry, medium bitter finish. Good one.

Golden. White head. Not much scent, a tad sweet. Not that much hoppy taste, a bit of a metallic finish. Some bitterness. Not a favourite.

Like this one. Pleasantly refreshing to drink. Sharpness and bitterness is tempered by a sweetness. Very easy to drink at 5.5% - could easily get you into trouble! More thoughts at http://hophead.tumblr.com

Bottle. Golden hazy with a thin white head. Smells of grass and hay. Taste is sweet with some citrus and malts. Finish is bitter and dry but not that bitter that you expect from the title on the bottle

Bright honey gold, not much head. Aroma a bit papery and woody, then yielding to healthy apple and hints of honeydew. Soft palate. Flavors are much brighter and more robust than the aromas. The malts are dry and subdued and the finish is lingering, toasty and with the same delightful understated herbal hop bitterness of the cask version. Not as nice as the cask version but still pretty good.

Dark golden with a fluffy white head. Aroma; Very fruity, some citrus squesed on top of peaches. A very hoppy nose, classic english. Flavours; Fruity in the mouth aswell, good hoparomas with lime/lemon zest, herbs, even a little earthy tone. Sweet, medium - body, sweet but balanced bitternes. Summary; This is more a english IPA, with hop aroma focus. Not a big IPA, but a easy to like IPA

0.5l bottle @ Baran. Pours a yellow/orange body with absofruitly no head. Nose is sweet and quite fruity. Citrus and orange zest. Light bodied with not medium carbonation and a medium dry finish. A nice IPA

Pours a lovely golden orange, small head which disappears almost at once. Powerful hoppy nose, almost perfumelike. Hints of pineapple and perhaps some grapefruit. Aroma is likewise (no surprise here) full of hops! I detect some hints of lime, and a hint of soap in the aftertaste. There’s also some nuts and strong cheese coming through in the aftertaste (though that might be remnants of the piece of cheddar I ate half an hour ago ;) Taste is initially quite bitter, but well balanced against the sweetness which shines through later. The bitterness then returns and lingers around after the finish, like that person who always stays just a little longer, even though everyone else has left the party. Nice full body, carbonation is satisfyingly low. Not the best IPA I’ve had so far, but pretty good. It would probably be perfect on a long, hot summer day, as the description says, but I think it’s also pretty good on a short, cold, dark winter (fri)day here in Norway! Especially for a novice hophead with a craving for a fix!
