Very pleasant drinking; 500ml clear glass bottle. Pours gin-bright, short lived head, moderate carbonation. Hops are there but take some finding amongst the malts. Nice mouthfeel and a rather nice bitter finish. All in all, a good pale ale.

500mL bottle poured a golden color with small white head and spotted lacing. Aromas of bread and hops. Taste is lightly sweet balanced with a bold hop finish. Moderate body and light carbonation for an average mouthfeel. Listed on the bottle as an India Pale Ale, this is a good beer for the style.

[500ml bottle, The Bottle, York] Pours an inviting golden, large white head, with a decent rising carbonation. Sweet, fruity nose, maybe some peach in there alongside the citrus. Bitter on the taste at first, rising sweetness appears on the finish. Quite fruity at the end. Quite nice stuff [08082011]

Hazy golden-tan. The aroma has the expected herbal, piney hops with light bready malts and a delicate berryish fruitiness. Palate is fruity, sweeter than cask, with the malts playing a more vital role. The beer is less floral as well, compared to the cask version. Still, it’s a nice hoppy bitter.
