UPDATED: MAY 10, 2007 Sampled on my Cornish adventure from 26 - 28 January 2007 whilst visiting my friend and ratebeer fellow member Ruprecht - A very flavoursome amber Cornish ale. Very fruity, some hopiness there, yet very refreshing. This ale is named "proper job"; a name that is thus apt!

Bottle. Golden colour, some floaties. OK bitterness with a little aroma hops. Nice citric hop flavour. Well-balanced, but not too exciting. Good for a bottled ale, though.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong white head. The aroma is smooth, fruity and dry, and the flavour is smooth, fruity, malty and bitter.Overall a very good beer due to its smoothness.

Cask @ Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Very pale, hazy straw-coloured beer with a tight white head that quickly evaporated. Malt sweetness up front replaced by grass, lemon and a hint of apple. Altogether very uplifting and light (best appreciated on a summers day rather than the depths of a cold rainy January) and very mellow.

Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Clear light yellow color with an almost non excising head. No visible lacing. Aroma was light flower and citrus with notes of other different hop characteristic blending in there. Quit smooth and drinkable I thought. Light to medium bodied with a light bitter sweet balanced flavor. Quit carbonated. Light sweet and bitter but dry finish with a very short duration.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber colour with a small, off-white head. Fresh, lightly citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied with soft, lightly caramelish malt notes. Weak underlying sweetness, but´ends dry if not exactly very bitter. 291006
