4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden colour, clear, small head which didn’t hang around long. Aroma was pine and citrus, the cascade hop was also prominent. Tasted lemon, maris otter malt and some apple. Finish was long wheaty and bitter. Fairly light body, crisp texture with some carbonation. Very well balanced IPA, no weaknesses.

Sabor com início de biscoito evoluindo para amargor com nuances de grapefruit; retrogosto adstringente e seco;

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear golden yellow beer under medium white fading foam. Medium aroma intensity, some floral hops, a little tropical, underwhelming. One dimensional attack of somewhat fresh citric hops, narrow midpalate and shortish finish, medium minus concentration, quite little complexity. All of it well short of the "powerfully hopped" boast, just a feeling this is mediocre in comparison to its peers.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home from Tesco. Aroma is sweet blackbeery, grassy hop and brambles. Touch of alcohol in the nose as well. Clear bright golden orange coloured pour with a thin loose white head. Flavour is honey, biscuit malts, metalic grassy bitterness. Assertive rough grassy bitterness lingers. A little honey sweetness in the finish as well. Drinkable enough.

500ml bottle. Pours pale yellow with good clarity, white creamy persisting head with some lacing. Aromas of grapefruit some light pine notes, honey some caramel too. Taste some citrus, lemon zest, grapefruit honey caramel. Medium carbonation and creamy in the mouth. not overly sweet, well balanced with some lingering hop bitterness and a touch of dryness on the finish. an easy drinking refreshing beer.

Bottle. Pours an amber colour without much of a head. Aroma is honey and caramel. Medium body, medium carbonation. Lots of honey, a little caramel, really not a great deal more going on. A little citrus, its OK.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: caramel malts. Appearance: light gold, very small to no head. Taste: light to medium sweet. Palate: low carbonation, light sweets continue, short finish. Overall: they may call it an IPA, but well, it isn’t really, more of a golden ale, but still very drinkable. Bottle from Hog Head Brewery, Tongham.

appearance: nice golden brown colour, large foamy head; aroma: slightly grassy, citrus, sour, grapefruit; taste: strong bitter grapefruit-flavor, citrus, moderate til strong bitterness, not the expected tropical fruit taste; overall a bit disappointing

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle from Tesco, where it is 4 for £6 at present. Pours light amber with an off white head that fades to a skim. Orangey citrus aroma. Bitter citrus flavour balanced by a posh orange cream chocolate creaminess. Definite Terry’s Chocolate Orange and bubblegum there. Not powerfully hopped as advertised, ’ cos that’s what we all like, innit? However, this does not appear to have been thrown together in a response to what appears fashionable. but is a well balanced beer that I hope someone planned
