3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg. A clear, golden beer with a nice, white head. Hop-driven nose with citrus and peaches. Some malt in the background. The flavor is on the hoppy side too, with citrus-peel, peaches and grapefruit. There’s only a touch of malts. Fine bitterness towards the finish. Medium, quite dry mouthfeel. A quite nice beer that soon gets boring. (090205)

2008-11-09, Cask Conditioned at J.D. Watherspoon - The Shakespear’s Head, London, 7-4-8-4-16=39
Blond color; creamy head. Nice hoppy aroma, citrusy. It has a quite good malt flavor, with a very good hopping, aromatic, citrusy, a bit resiny. Strong ending bitterness. Very good.
2008-10-22, Cask Conditioned at The Cove, London, 7-4-6-3-14=34
Hazy golden color. Nice grassy hops aroma. Quite weak mouthfeel, with some good malt flavor (dry) and a good hopping, grassy and citrusy, but more powerful than aromatic. The final is well bitter, but missing caramel or better hop oils. Pleasant.

Cask at the Railway, Putney, "Mopping up the Spoons fest", 15th Nov 08. A truly great British bitter, even better on cask. Golden amber with a little frothy head. Tastes of dry citrus hops - lots of grapefruit. Nose is rather restrained but it lets rip once on the tongue.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Served cask at Charlies in Copenhagen. Pours a strax and bright moisty yellow. The nose is faint with bitter citrus notes. The tasty is dominated of the american hops that in the finish is nice and very bitter - beside that there is not enough body to back up the hoppyness. The palate is rather waterish and tipically british - but thumps up for the hops.

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Gold with a healthy white head. Good citric hop bite and juicy balancing malt. Very good for an old english regional.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the Roebuck, Nottingham. This pale ale unsurprisingly features aromas and flavours of citrus and soft fruit. I enjoy the American hops. It is very hoppy for its strength but somewhat unbalanced; it’s not quite as good as Dark Star’s APA or some of the better ones from America, like 3F Alpha King or Piece Full Frontal.
