2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at Horniman at Hays in London. It poured a clear golden liquid with a minimal white head. It had a hint of hops and some flowers. Fairly mild. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body. A very mild ale, but at least it had a hint of hops in both smell and taste. I wouldn’t have mind a bit more flavour. But it was easy to drink and did the trick without impressing. One of the better real ales I tried during my trip.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
I wasn’t convinced about this beer. I felt it was too hoppy for what I wanted at that time at least. It’s more in the vein of American IPAs, without the carbonation. I prefer the more gentle British ales. Nice to try nonetheless.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
This is by far the best interpretation of the classic English IPA I’ve had. The aroma is floral with hints of earthy notes and just pleasant happy. Flavor adds the aroma with a nice medium
