yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a slowly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is mild citrus fruity hops with a light pilsner accent. Flavour starts citrus fruity, quite refreshing. Shows a light pilsner like flavour followed by a good portion of bitterness into the finish. Fruity accents into the far finish. Great refreshing brew.
peter48er (68), Liverpool, Merseyside, England Sep 4, 2008 Cask @ Freshfield Hotel, Formby. ABV stated as 4.5%. Honey coloured, with a small white head. Full of hoppy citrus flavours. Very fruity with a full on bitterness. Hadn’t realised this was an IPA but should have. Very drinkable despite (or because of ) a cold wet early September evening. Gary__ (100), London, Greater London, England Aug 23, 2008 The bottle label has some old fart Colonel type dude on it . I assumed they were trying to pass this up as fake IPA,like many UK beers with that IPA sensibility . This is more hoppy and vibrant than those fake IPA’s. Nice tropical fruit ,like lychees and Pine needles doing the conga with juicy fruits . Biscuty mild sweet maltiness in derr. Good job-Proper Job. That sounded lame. azlondon (487), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Dark golden. Huge amounts of head.
