Trelawny Ale invokes the best Cornish traditions, heritage and innovation. Locally grown barley is gently roasted to give this beer a classic burnished copper colour and a robust full body which belies its modest strength. A unique blend of traditional English Golding, and specially imported Galaxy hops from distant South Australia harmonise to give this beer a distinctive character of the old, and the new world. Peach and apricot notes dominate the aroma, with hints of butterscotch and toffee apple. The taste is full, with toasted biscuit and jam being balanced by the mellow, yet assertive bitterness of tangy hops.

Poured at the old fox in Birmingham. Aroma is toffee and toasted almond. Not much happening on the pallet though. Session ale in the winter months I’d suggest.
