St. Austell’s most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. It’s perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming “the” Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

Dejlig smag, med et strejf af citron. Flot farve, men mangler lidt dybde i smagen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle. Guiness Pint glass. Brass color, clear appearance. White crown shows fairly good retention. Pale malt, subtle toasted, orange & citric aromas. Slight toasted flavor, hints of tropical fruit & floral bitterness at first sip. Light to medium body. Moderate to soft carbonation. Oily to watery texture. Notes of orange pulp, citric zest, grapefruit & raspberry in the middle. Sweet dry finish. Fruity aftertaste. Easy drinkable & suggested for a nice beer session.

From bottle this pours a pale golden amber with head which instantly fizzles away. There isn’t much in the way of aroma to be honest, slightl malt citrus. Taste is mild, slightly citrusy and malty with enough hop bitterness to keep me interested leading to a refreshingly dry finish. Above average and certainly drinkable!

Bottle from Tesco. Amber beer with medium head and a touch of lacing. Aroma of hops and orange citrus. Taste is oranges, citrus hops, caramel and some malts to balance it all out. Nice bottle.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tempo. Clear golden. A little fruity hoppiness and limestone in the nose, stale bitter taste - like English bottled beer. Light body, slightly malty and dry finish.

Aroma: Fruity, spicy, bread, musty, Appearance: Clear light copper body. Medium rocky off-white head. Flavour: Medium-High bitterness. Medium-light sweetness, fruity, bread, dry finish. resin, caramel, Palate: Medium body. High carbonation. Overall: The high bitterness is a bit of a shock, but one does get used to it. The beer is enjoyable after a few sips. I could have another few. 500 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre! 8B. Special/Best/Premium Bitter

High carbonation so the head disappeared instantly and violently. Strong malty smell. Hoppy taste with a lasting bitterness.

Stronger caramel than colour would suggest. Little body. Does what the style requires, but this is not my style of beer.

50cl bottle. Golden with small head. NOSE : toast bread with hay, some delicate lemon juice aromas. SIP : water like body with delicate carbonation. Oily texture. The beer has a delicate malt presence. Mostly toasted bread like. Hops are well balanced and provide a delicate dry middle. Further one the beer gets more bitter. it is still a delicate bitterness but taking the delicate malt notes, it is fairly paired. Aftertaste is herbal and earth like. OVERALL : easy to drink and well balanced. Very light flavor though. Another ale that can compete with a lager for the lack of taste.
