Pasteurised bottle.
St. Austellís most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. Itís perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming ďtheĒ Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

Bottle at Dave and Jillís. This is the sort of beer that every brewer in the UK should be able to nail. Itís gratifying but itís quite simple really and it could be drunk by the gallon. Thereís lemon with a touch of hobeyed malt. The taste definitely doesnít get in the way of the balance.

Light copper-amber in colour, no head. Thereís plenty of pale ale character in this but the dry hoppy flavours also include plenty of tasty grain with a similarly good nose to this effect.

500ml Bottle: BBD 28 May 14, poured into my huge íJudasí glass at home on 18 Oct 13 during a random tasting session with myself. Poured a lovely amber/old gold colour, the head sadly didnít hang around and became a wisp and collar far too quickly for my liking. Really prefer the cask version to this: The hops donít seem as assertive in the nose or taste and it lacks oomph compared to a well looked after draught pint. Fruity notes in both the nose and taste, Iím trying to be positive here, but failing, like the beer in front of me. Just another bottled bitter really: what a pity.

500ml bottle - Ginger oranges with a constant carbonation, little or no forth. Moreish and aromatic hunts of citrus. Very pleasant and not as watery as it looks.

Bottle. Clear deep golden color with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel and malt. Smooth taste of malt and floral hops. Medium body.

Buona birra di stampo inglese. Niente di particolare, a parte un buon retrogusto simile a thŤ alla pesca., ma amaro. Bevuta in lattina.

This is an OK beer, but I would say better on draught than from the bottle where it comes over as "just another bitter".

Nice amber pour with fizzy off white head. Nice citrusy and malty aroma. Solid malt flavor moving into some hope bitterness. solid mouthfeel. Nice balanced flavor that stays constant as it warms. Quite a decent brew.
