COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pasteurised bottle.
St. Austell’s most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. It’s perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming “the” Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

Long time ago me and my brother rater here,
We was hitch-hikin’ down a long and lonesome road
All of a sudden, there stank a stinky ticker
In the middle of the road

And he said: "Drink the best beer in the world"
or he’d eat our souls (our souls)

Well me and my rater,... we looked at each other,
and we each said...
"Okay."

And we drank the first beer that came out our bag,
it just so happened to be,
The Best Beer in the World,
it was The Best Beer in the World.

Look into our notepads and read our rate,
With a Bayseian weighting, it was 4.8,
(it was really great)

Needless to say,
the ticker was stunned.
Whip-crack went his trolley,
And the ticker was done.

He asked us: " Be you scoopers?"
And we said, "Nay.

This is not The Greatest Beer in the World, No.
This is just Tribute.

Couldn’t afford The Greatest Beer in the World, No.
This is just Tribute.

Not as impressive as cask, still has a deep bitterness licked with fresh flowery hops.

Bottle 500 ml from Globus - Marin (CH). Luminous amber with fleeting foam and very low crackling. Fruity aromas of malt, toffy, note of citrus. The taste is bittersweet, balanced, tropical fruits, spicy hops, floral note and biscuit. Bitterness a bit earthy of almond and grass accompanies the final sweetness.

Light amber coloured and clear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Has a real nice aroma, floral, hoppy, faint citrus. Light bread too. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish moderate bitter. Dry, creamy texture and soft carbonation.

I have enjoyed this in its ubiquitous cask form across the west country and while it isn’t quite the same bottled this is a good bitter. Classic copper colour with a slightly creamy head. Citrussy but mainly malty aromas and flavours. Fairly bitter, almost sour on the aftertaste and quite strongly carbonated.

Pours a gold colour and has light fruity aroma and has a slightly fruity taste better on cask.

50cl bottle shared with a friend. Thin white head. Bllond clear pour. Nice enough beer. The cask version is better

500 mL bottle from Tesco poured into a pint glass at home. A nice head on top of a clear amber beer. The aroma is pleasant, plum, and citrusy, very good. Hoppy, bitter with sour fruit and raisin, sweet and sour, with biscuity malt. I was tempted to give this a luke-warm review as I wasn’t that impressed the first time I tried it, but I like it more and more each time I drink it. A fine English/Cornish bitter.
