Pasteurised bottle.
St. Austell’s most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. It’s perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming “the” Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

500ml bottle. Aroma of toffee and biscuit. Colour strong gold. Head small and white. Taste is vanilla, with some delicate hops and light bitterness. Finish is short and malty. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Refreshing on a summer evening. Pale golden in colour. Not particularly adventurous in its flavour.

from bottle at mondial 2014, mtl. cloudy pale golden pour with a small off-white cap, some retention and lacing. tea leaves, aromatic tea, grainy and lean pale maltiness, spicy-herbal grassiness, slightly perfumey, English bitters - usual suspects, also spices. moderate to low carbonation, light body - not quite watery, dry grassy-herbal tea finish. nicely crafted bitter.

Bottle. Bright gold with a decent white head. Lemons and light grapes and maybe a touch of red berry in the nose - almost ribena-like. It’s a little "ribena" in taste as well - blackcurrant with a lemon zing Nicely carbonated making it easy to drink. A quaffer, with plenty of fruity flavour!

Bottle at Noels House whilst watching the cheating fucking Kiwis scrape a 20-15 win over England B, 07/06/14. Clear rich golden with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is biscuit malt, light spice, woody rinse, nutmeg, dark fruits. Taste comprises earthy tones, light mineralisms, spice, hint of orange, dark fruit, figgy jam, pineapple jus. Medium bodied, soft carbonics, light bitter splatterings at the curtain call. Decent enough bottled bitter - again a lot better than the many mediocre micro cask offerings that show their faces in the provinces!

500ml brown bottle, abv4.2%; off-white vanishing hue, ocher clear body, rare dots. Caramel malts, fruity hops, grains and hints of honey to the nose. Caramel toffee malts with grassy hops, honey notes and mild bitterness to the tongue. Soft carbonation, pleasant feel. Finishes with bread, malt, minced grains, lingering into the bread malty atmosphere... (Tromsø, May 28, 2014)

Sort of cloudy amber look about it, brassy if you will. Creamy noggin on it too. Sort of nutty and muddy tasting, a tad of dry, hoppy bitterness. Brown bread in a glass. Not too shabby.

Clear amber with little head. Hoppy aroma full of flowers, not very strong. Flavor is moderately minerally, with a hitn of grains. Minerally mouthfeel; not much carbonation.

Pale amber and golden appearance with a little head, aroma is a great combination of hops and a more fruity, almost tropical smell. Taste is again a combination of fruity notes as well as a malt taste, making it one I’m happy to drink. It’s better as a cask beer, but bottled is still very satisfactory.
