St. Austell’s most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. It’s perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming “the” Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

500ml brown bottle. Pours out gold, has a full white head, creamy and fine bubbles. Nose has sweet malt with citrusy hops. Taste has grainy malts, a bit of caramel sweetness, fruity notes, orange and grapefruity citrus notes. Grains in the finish with light citrusy bitterness. Light body, light carbonation. Pretty nice bitter, decent use of hops gives it a little complexity.

Reasonable session beer. Slightly bitter balance (as advertised) but missing a bit of body and/or a little watery to my mind/taste. Still, a nice beer overall and I wouldn’t turn one down if offered again.

0,5l bottle from Tesco. Pours clear amber with a low head. Aroma is malts with a hint of fruits. Flavor is bitter malts with some fruits and a slightly hoppy finish. Quite basic bitter imo. Decent.

Dark golden colour. In addition to sweet malts there is a nice hoppy aroma. Good body and balance, like an ESB really.

500ml Bottle from Asda (£1.99):
Solid bitter aroma to start with strong earthy notes and a lot of bitterness along with some caramel and earthy notes. There is an earthy hop aroma to but this is followed by an unexpected citrus aroma and some sweeter fruits along with a few floral notes.
Bright, amber brown to copper colour with a thick looking lacing for a head that looks like a layer of foam on top of the clear beer.
Earthy malts and subdued hops from the nose there is the citrus taste as well but this is more up front than it was on the nose. There is a trace of biscuit and some caramel too along with lemon zest and a touch of spice.
Medium and smooth body with medium to moderate bitterness and the slightest of citrus tangs on top of this. Well balanced and easy to drink with a crisp, well carbonated finish.

A basic bitter but has the nice addition of some citrus fruits added on top that gives it a new dimension and helps it go down pretty easily. Whilst not one that I’d go back to all that often, this one is a nice beer and worth a try.

Pours golden with white diminishing head. Citrus aroma. Hoppy flavours with citrus aftertaste. Pleasant but not special.

Cask @ Woodland Tavern L.Spa. Poured beautifully with a full head which remained for quite a while. Soft hop aroma. Caramel and butterscotch maltiness with a a crisp bitter finish. Delicious and very well kept.

500ml Bottle, round at nephew Johns, poured in an English pint. Golden, with a white head.Caramel & honey aroma. Similar flavours, but offset by pleasant herbal hoppiness. I enjoyed this much more than I expected to.

Ok beer and worth buying. Probably much better on draught. Agree that it is a little wattery

Mid gold pour with a thin white head. Aroma was floral, sweet, with a weird candy smell. Taste was biscuity but i also got musk sticks! Sweet with a little persistent bitterness, a little watery.
