Robe dorée, belle mousse persistante. Nez marqué par des notes houblonnées et citronnées. Bouche fraîche et amère, moyennement longue mais équilibrée. Une bière de soif

330ml can served in a flute glass. Pours a clean copper amber color forming a small light yellow head with low retention and very few lacings left. Nose is sweet caramel grains, grass and resin. Citrus hints. Taste is basically caramel malts and grassy hops. Notes of toffee and pine. Light citrus notes. Slightly sweet upfront. In overall, taste is dry. Medium bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation. Good drinkability. Classic British Bitter.

Clear smooth honey amber color with white-ish foam. Aromas of fruits like citrus and hints of passion fruit., quite fresh and hoppy. Palate, light body with somewhat little dry-ish texture other than that very watery leaves somewhat "fruity finish". Taste is sweetish of citrus fruits like oranges and lemons in a way, with bit of malt at the end but watery and weak. Overall and okay beer, not amazing.

From a bottle, pours a clear light amber color with a cream colored head. The smell is fruity, light caramel, toasted malt. The taste is fruit, touch of cough syrup, toasted malt ending drips and fruity. Light+ in body with slightly above carbonation level.

500ml bottle. Pours with thin, watery but persistent chalky head. Colour clear medium amber. Aroma especially malty with light treacle sweetness. Also malt heavy and slightly sweet palate. Very pleasant and reliable beer of its type, but would benefit from stone kind of edge or complexity to set it apart.

Bottle BBE: 06.2016. Cellar temp. Pours a crystal clear amber body with medium, pillowy, fawn head. Low-medium intensity malty cornflake aroma, with tropical fruit and peppery notes. A medium, chewy sweetness is balanced by a light bitterness. Medium-bodied with a slick texture, average carbonation and a short, bitter-orange finish. As tasty from the bottle as it is in cask, this is a real gold standard in English pale ales.

Dark golden, head retention minimal. Aroma of dark chicory and english hops. Palate thin, watery, carbonation medium. Taste malt forward, biscuity with slightest hint of roasted malt and fruity esters.Finish medium dry with english hops in very moderate amount. Drinkable and my cup of coffee but nothing special there really. Lacks body and should have been more complex.
