Commercial Description:
Pasteurised bottle.
St. Austell’s most sought after ale is available as a 500ml bottled beer. It’s perfectly balanced flavour retains much of the cask versions unique hoppy palate and citrusy nose. An ale to savour and a real Cornish ambassador. Rapidly becoming “the” Cornish Premium Ale, this great beer can now be enjoyed outside of the county of Cornwall. Many supermarkets take Tribute, enabling those who enjoy drinking at home to enjoy the true taste of Cornwall.

Light and hoppy session ale, nice amber colour, unremarkable. Didn’t pour with much head.

Bottle. Served too bloody cold! Dark golden colour with ok slightly off white head. With my permanently knackered nose can’t smell much. Not bad, hoppy with a decent balance of citrus and a little malt. Quite mild tasting, not much bitterness. Bit boring but certainly drinkable.

Bottle, thx to Ungstrup. It pours a clear golden body, with a decent off-white head. Toffee-malty nose, bready, with a fruity touch. Pleasant fruity and hoppy flavor with some caramel. Medium body with a nice level of carbonation. Hoppy finish with tropical fruits, but not much bitterness. Good drinkability, but rather boring. (080823)

Bottle@Home. Lots of citrus in the aroma, very strong. Amber color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, citrus, nice bitterness, perfumy. Sticky mouthfeel. Not exceptional but pleasant.

Bottle, Morrisons, West Kirby. Poured a deep golden colour with a dissipating thin off white head. Citrus and hops in the aroma. Flavour had similar elements with a sweetish touch. Some bitterness lurking. OK, but somewhat forgettable.
