I’ve had it in bottle before but it hasn’t been as good as this cask at the Pen and Wig. There’s a nice floral and malty aroma to the beer, smells like a fresh pint of bitter, nothing particularly special but very fresh and pleasant. The taste is light, with a maltiness and crystal malt sweetness that grows up slowly and then hits dry. In the meantime, all these floral hops dance in your mouth, with some subtle fruit present. Very much recommended as a session beer.

Cask at The Bridge Inn Stourport. One of my favourites and again it didn’t dissapoint. Great balance of flavours and a very drinkable session beer

Cask,hand pulled at The Rocklands Club,Redditch,Worcestershire.Deep gold pour with medium sized lasting white head.Floral aroma with some malt in there too and just a little hop.Tasted of biscuit,malt and a little fruitiness coming together to make a light bodied enjoyable brew.

(Cask @The Station Hotel, SE London) Pours gold with a small white head, and medium lacing. Medium to light body. Fruity aroma of citrus hops, grass, and malt. Taste of citrus hops, pine and biscuity malt. Very drinkable, really like this.

Tasty bitter, very sessionable. Nice floral aroma. Not gonna set the world alight but nice for its type

Not bad as it has some citrusy hops but watered down. Easy drinker. Floral aroma. I was told a few people had five pints of this each. For me it was a starter beer for more bold offerings.

A smooth textured pale ale, with a good aroma, and understated taste.
