COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
Ingredients: Cornish Gold Malt; Willamette hops.
Tribute is a popular favourite with locals and visitors alike to Cornwall, as well as being a much sought after guest ale throughout the rest of the UK.
Roger Protz: “Tribute is a magnificent example of a bronze coloured English bitter, with a rich aroma of biscuity malt and tart citrus fruit. Juicy malt, hop resins and tangy fruit coat the tongue, while the finish is long and lingering, with a fine balance between malt, hops and fruit, finally becoming dry and bitter”.

Cask at Falcon…can’t believe I haven’t rated this before. Light orange, still, slight haze, small white head, full lacing. Aroma is soft malt, light orange. Body is light, slightly foamy, low carbonation. Taste is malt-forward, slight orange, almost no bitterness. Decent, drinkable, basic bitter.

Cask at The George, Backwell, Bristol. Hazy golden-amber with smallish cream-white head. Nose and flavour is biscuit malts with floral hops providing a decent bitterness. Nicely balanced with a lightish palate and easily drinkable for a session.

On cask at Tennents Bar, Glasgow, 15/08/2014. Amber, slightly hazy (which I don’t mind), thick white head through use of sparkler, good lacing. Nice aroma of sugared grapefruit, with some yeastiness. Taste of sultanas and glace cherries, with grapefruit hoppiness; full-bodied. This ale is a favourite of mine, and on this occasion was exceptional.
