Bottle from Alcampo. Dark brown colour, medium off-white. Nose is brown sugar, dark fruits, raisins. Flavour is dark fruits, malts, molasses, raisins, bit of spices. Fairly sweet and slightly bitter finish. Pleasant.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown color, average sized beige to light brown head that diminishes fast. Smell malts, raisin and lightly roasty. Taste dark malts, raisins, some caramel and some sweetness. Firm carbo, medium body.

Malziger Antrunk, der viel zu früh von einem herben Ton unterbrochen wird. Mild, im Unterton würzig mit Potential, dass kaum genutzt wird. Das Malz zeigt sich im Abgang noch einmal deutlich, es wird stärker und röstmalzig. Daneben fehlen aber andere Aromen, die das Bier interessanter machen. Der leicht bitter-metallerne Ton tut dies sicher nicht. Test vom 8.10.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,9,9,8,10,9 - 9,00

bottle, dark brown/reddish beer with foamy and stable white/darker head. Smell: some maltyness. Taste: same malty, sweetness and a little little bit bitter. I like this one but it has no spectacular palate!

Bottle at home. Dark brown pour, thin light brown head. Aroma is roasty, some rye, brown bread and brown sugar. Flavor is sweet malty, slightly roasted and with some dark fruits and a tiny hint of molasses. Thick body and decent carbonation. Ok brew.

Bottle at Delirium Monasterium. Dark brown body with puffy head. Nose quite sweet and malty, with chocolate notes. Taste is quite prickly, malts, caramel, alcoholic, quite sweet. But quite watery texture and soft - kind of dull, really.
