Beautiful straw colour, fine white head. Fruity aroma with a slight flavour of hop. Smooth beer, pleasantly sweet with a light bitterness.

Bionda belga sufficiente dal sapore fruttato, con una buona schiuma cremosa e di media persistenza, leggero retrogusto di luppolo in un contesto prevalentemente dolce.

Stereotypical blond ’abbey beer’ with firm, rocky, yellowish white, stable head and pure golden blond colour, clear at first but hazy after adding the deposit, with vivid sparkles. Pale malts aroma, spicy hoppiness but subtly, apple, lime, coriander, pepper, fried eggs, straw. Fruity, crisp onset, citrus freshness (orange peel), sourish touch lasting till deep into the finish, mellow maltiness with soft, wheaty effect, lightly dry finish without real hop bitterness. Obviously made to compete with Leffe Blonde and its allies, not offending in any way, but not adding anything to the ’Belgian blond’ style either.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2014 de St Hadelin blond is een lekker blond biertje met een volle, rijke smaak, echt een aanrader. Ook nog eens als St Benoit geproefd.

Bottle @ Pub L’Escale, Reims. Pours hazy amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of hops, fruit and flowers. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of flowers and citrus. Yeast and metal towards the finish and in the aftertaste. High carbonation. Drinkable but nothing really special.

Beer has an iron taste to it. Well hopped. Hard to find more flavors than that. It is the average Belgian blonde we know so well and don’t really like. Bottle from De Zwart in Wilnis.

Bottle at HK Brewhouse. Cloudy light brown, nice white head. Not much aroma. Light taste, wheaty with slight bitter aftertaste. Too heavily carbonated. Medium length. Unexciting ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Typical Belgian blond beer. Yeasty sweet body, with some fruit and aroma hops. Standard.
