Jan 26, 2007 Bottle. Beauitiful mahogny red colour with a creamy mostly diminishing off-white head, fair lacing. Sweet quite fruity aroma with roasted malts, spices and dark caramel. Good fruitiness, caramel and good spices in the flavour along with some yeast and liquorice. Very tasty Abbey beer indeed!

Nov 22, 2006 Dark brown with a light brown head. Sweet fruit and spice aroma. Sweet burnt dark malt flavor with a slight alcohol tingle.

Sep 21, 2006 Bottled(330ml). -Reddish dark brown coloured, pale brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, very fruity and spicy with some not so pleasant caramel notes, also some yeast notes. Touch of sourness in the finish.
