Dark Golden Brown pour, Yeasty, spicy, malty aromas. Mouthfeel is like but hearty with a complex mix of spice and yeast with some subtle fig and and maybe raisin or grape. Warming alcohol finish is touched with banana. Excellent

Driied fruit, sweetly malty, raisins... A very good belgian once again but doesn’t quite end up in the top tier.

This beer looks absolutely beautiful. Dark brown in color with a very large, long lasting, foamy head. Looks almost too good to drink. Aroma is malty, sweet, and slightly alcoholic. The taste is so complex. So well-balanced with flavors of raisins, figs, caramel, slight chocolate and traces of alcohol. The alcohol is well hidden, though. Medium body, feels a little thick in the mouth. Overall, a fantastic beer!

Pour a dark ruby brown in color with a nice two inches of head. Smell is belgian candy sugars, some plum and some light yeast. Taste is more of the plums and dark fruits. Incredibly creamy and big on the mouthfeel. A hint of spice in the taste at the end of each sip. Very good beer. Luxurious in the mouthfeel. Great beer, but not as complex as the Rochefort 10, which is still my fav.

Pours dark, deep red with a fizzy, active head. Smells like dark fruit. Tastes of plums, grapes, other dark fruits. Fizzy, malty mouthfeel with a biting alcoholic finish, below average to on my palate. Flavor gets better as it warms and it becomes easier to drink as you get used to the bite. Very complex beer.

Bottle: Dark red colour, with a nice creamy head. Aroma of grapes, fruits, flowers,caramel and some sournes in the end. Flavor has a nice maltymouth feeling, medium body, som alcy medium finish. Werry Nice!

Aroma smells of ripen fruits, yeast, and chocolate. The taste is sweet, but not overbearing. Very balanced with sweetness and roasted malts. Goes down easy, but a little carbonated.

ONE OF THE BEST BEERS IN THE WORLD AND ITS SO COMPLEX.IT HAS A SLIGHTLY FRUITY SMELL AND TASTE. I ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE A 750ML BOTTLE IN MY HOUSE FOR RESERVE.
