tympanic (50), Alabama, USA Jan 8, 2008 Poures a huge, fantastic foam! Silky, vanilla flavor with a hint of cherries jubilee. Tastes much better than it smells. I’d like fifty of them, please. Ok, the foam was because I poured really fast and I’m drunk bhensonb (4187), Woodland, California, USA Jan 7, 2008 Light aroma of citrus and spice. Very hazy golden color with a significant white head that laced minimally. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is wheat, lemony citrus, and arguably coriander, which is sort of citrusy (terpenes). Also a bit of sharpish spice (pepper or clove?), very small bit. Really quite excellent. Finishes a bit acidic and dry. beerbrat99 (119), Portland, Oregon, USA Jan 6, 2008 Draft. Poured in appropriate glassware. Pours a hazy golden with a slight orange hue. Aroma of orange zest, lemon and coriander. Flavor is the same. Nice head retention and nice crisp dry finish. Enjoyable beer. Maria (6056), Thisted, Denmark Jan 6, 2008 Hazy golden with a loose head. The flavour has citric acidity, grapefruit peel, and a light honey sweetness. The bitterness is nice in the finish. It’s a wit bier and should as such have citric acidity, but I think this is a bit too much, at least for my liking. Chapel (329), Levittown, New York, USA Dec 31, 2007 Pours opaque yellow with a thin but cloudy white head and some yeast sediment. Aroma is strongly of lemon with a note of yeast. Flavor is nice and thick with a solid sour lemon flavor. Corriander is present from start to finish with little to no bitterness. Sour flavor lasts for a while on the tongue. If you like either Belgians or sours, make sure you give this a try. clueo (112), Pennsylvania, USA Dec 28, 2007 Nice banana smell whic carries through to the flavor. Pours nicely with a small white head and a nice wheat color. If you like Belgian White’s this is a treat!! rayOfBeer (316), El Cerrito, California, USA Dec 27, 2007 This one was on tap and came out yellowish pale with a quickly fading white foam head with big bubbles. Aromas are mostly of citrus and a little yeast, fading to a slight hot dog-like smell. The taste is citrusy and slightly clovey with banana but not much spice. The lack of spice and carbonation gives off a watery mouth feel. Overall, a good effort on a style I enjoy, but lacks a little something to make this wit on par with others. Maverick34 (686), New York, USA Dec 21, 2007 Bottle. A pretty decent witte but not to awesome, a little bit too much bitterness without enough flavor? Or something to that effect.
