750 mL bottle. Pours nearly opaque, cola brown. Some head that doesn’t really last. Aroma is of sweet malt and sweet fruit, plums, raisins, and a hint of pineapple. Flavor is just as sweet as the aroma, not so fruity, but with the malt really coming through. The fruit reappears on the finish. Palate is very thick. An excellent beer.

Bottle Pours a good dark brown with a big frothy off white head. The head is foamy and lasting. Produces some good lacing. Has a good aroma of spices, dark fruits, Bubble gum, and brown sugar. Has a high carbonation. The flavor is real good. Sweet but not over done. Good spiciness with a good balance of hops and malts. The alcohol is hidden well and its blended to perfection. Has a medium to full body. The mouthfeel is excellent. Has a dry texture. The finish is great with a very pleasing aftertaste. This is just a great beer, Merry Christmas.

Poured a dark brown with a thick beige head. Aroma is lots of spicy yeast and some dark, sweet fruitiness. The flavor has a nice kick to it, with lots of spicy yeast and some light fruitiness up front. There’s a bit of earthy funk and some pine and spruce as well. Has a long, warming alcohol finish. Really enjoyed this one.

Deep amber pour with some head. Aroma of doughy yeast and spice. Flavor is subtly spicy, sweet, malt forward. Light spruce, bread dough, some clove and ginger and alcohol. Dark fruit and brown sugar. Nice mouthfeel, full boied with great belgian carbonation. Finishes with raisins, light alcohol. Pretty nice.

Bottle split with Ryguy. Pours a dark, hazy brown body with nice sediment, and a thick rootbeer float head. The aroma is spicy, notes of sugar and malt. The taste reveals the nice carbonation of the brew, pleasant mouthfeel. Flaviors of rich malt, sugar, and dark fruit. Slight alcohol burn, but more of a mouthfeel rather than taste.

Bottle, ABV 10%, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Dark brown colour, hazy, moderate off-white head. Moderate but pleasant aroma of malts, brown sugar, Belgian yeast and spices. The flavour has a rich malty sweetness, also notes of candi sugar, dark dried fruits and spices. The finish is distinctly spicy and moderately hoppy. A very nice Christmas beer!
