Mar 4, 2008 Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, mabel, jerc & mds -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a slightly hazy deep ruby with an average size lasting foamy off-white head. Very nice aroma of sweet malt, spices, some brown sugar, yeast and fruit too. Flavour, also nice, is malty, spicy and yeasty along with a bit of alcohol and a pleasant spicy / bitter finish. Alcohol for the most part is well hidden. Medium bodied. Fantastic stuff!

Feb 27, 2008 2008-02-26. Bottle. Dark brown body, with a fluffy beige head. Sweet lightly alcoholic aoma, sugar, caramel malt. Similar flavour with sweet sugars - caramel and brown sugar - simple but well executed. Smooth average to medium palate. (3+) QUite nice. Relatively straghtforward but quite lovely. Feb 26, 2008 Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy, biegaman, GregClow, mabel, mds and jerc - my bottle. Deep red-brown, large fluffy tan lasting head. Lovely sweet caramel malt, yeast and winter spices, lightly floral. Taste - same; floral/herbal, lush, yeasty, sweet but not aggressively so, just balanced and smooth. Soft, dry, smooth mouthfeel, lightly astringent from the spice, long sweet finish. Terrific.

Feb 25, 2008 browned orange with a medium cream colored head. dark fruit, yeast, and alcohol aroma. medium creamy bodied, slightly sticky. honey bread flavors with pit and dark fruits, a nice cherry liqueur note. not my favorite of their offerings but still great.

Feb 22, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy oeange color with a small off-white head. Has a spicy malty aroma with hints of dark fruit and also some hints of yeast in the aroma. Sweetish malty dark fruit flavor with spicy hints and some weak hints of yeast. Has a warming malty spicy finish with some hints of dark fruit in the aftertaste.

Feb 20, 2008 Brown with a thick off white head. Aroma is caramel, alcohol, yeast, dried fruits, red grapes. Taste is light fruit, some yeast, light alcohol, nicely malty. Body is a bit overcarbonated.

Feb 15, 2008 Dark brown ale, big creamy rocky head. Malty nose, with deep malt flavors, hints of raisin and caramel. Yeasty, sour burst with a malty finish. Yummm.
