750ml bottle @ Hams, purchased for the table by Naven, shared with Naven and Bartzilla. Pours dark reddish brown with a 1 finger tan head. Aroma is spicy and spiced with a heavy dose of pepper. Taste is peppery, and a damn nice belgian strong taste. Usually am not a fan of this kind of spice but it worked here.

Bottle @ a Christmas party. Very sweet and overdone w/ spices. Don’t like spiced brews and didn’t like this one.

Thanks to El Gordo for this one--Poured a deep black-brown body with small whitish head. Nose of grapefruit, brown sugar, molasses, and dark fruits. Roasty, complex and quite scrumptious. Warm, smooth, and dry finish. Very nice!

Almost black coloured beer with a small off white head. Full malty ripe fruity roasted aroma. Creamy palate. Finish is bitter malty with some roasted little alcoholic touches.

Flaske.

On tap, yesterday @ Kerstbierfestival. Almost black color, with beige creamy head. Aroma roasted malts, fruits, spices. Medium tot full body. Taste = very sweet, roasted malts, warming alcoholic touch. Dry end. Nice.

Pours amber into a trappist glass. Medium to large sized head recedes at a medium pace to skim surface. Nutmeg aromas. Pit fruit and spices.

From Plaza Liquors. Pours a beautiful mahogany color. Great spicy and estery aroma. First pour was very foamy. Did settle nicely though. Nice christmas flavor, but it was a little thin. Hid the alcohol content well. Not the best belgian I have had but a nice beer.
