750mL bottle. Epic. Looks like normal St. B, brown in color, good lacing, khaki head, a little bubbly and unstable. Aroma is complex, I get currant, and a bit of unfermented yeast. Taste is complex as well, dark fruits, bitter chocolate, and a taste of alcohol as well. Surprisingly drinkable despite its complexity. Perfect aftertaste and finish. I knew I’d love this one.

Bottle. Overflowed a bit when I opened it. Pours a hazy darker brown color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose has some hints of bread to it as well as some candied figs. Taste is slightly sweet and has some dark fruits coming through. OK, but not really my sort of thing.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a hazy brown color with a one finger sustaining white foamy head that concaves a bit but holds its own for a good two minutes before dissipating ever so lightly. The smell had a sweet to lightly spiced combination of cinnamon and ginger running into a sweet biscuity/bready goodness. Subtle hints of cocoa allocate nicely in and around my nose. The taste took all of those previously mentioned flavors to combine and flavor a sweet bready aftertaste leading into a semi - wet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sipping quality running about. Carbonation seems to run smooth and semi-dry. Overall, as a Belgian Strong Ale, it’s awesome to me it’s still awesome. Would love to have again for Christmas!

The aroma is crisp maybe of caramel. The appearance is a nice amber with a thick tan head. The taste is a bit strong of alcohol, malty, caramel. Heavy to drink, probably can only do one of these in a night. Overall not that bad, but could have been better.

Piana pojawi?a si? na u?amek sekundy i od razu znikn??a, nie pozostawi?a po sobie ?ladu, nawet nie pobrudzi?a szk?a. Na powierzchni ta?czy?y tylko drobne b?belki. Bukiet to wyra?ne go?dziki, pomara?cza, przyprawy nieod??cznie kojarz?ce si? z zim?.

Pours murky dark brown with a nice pillow beige top. Aroma is a slight spice of nutmeg and cinnamon and sweet caramel malt. Taste is much the same, spice is not overpowering just a nice accent to a well balanced winter warmer.

330ml bottle from Belgium in a Box - Chunky dark chestnut brown body, with a lasting two finger beige head, very good lacing. Rich, full aroma of banana bread, toffee, dark fruits, and some floral notes. Medium body, velvety, smooth. Fantastic banana bread flavor, nutmeg, spice, caramel, some very light floral and grassy notes. Love it.

red brown pour dense foam that vanishes. Aroma cola, cherries, barley, sour tang. Tastes brown sugar, cola, pears, orange blossoms astringent like a ginger ale. Light fast drinking slight creamy effervescent.

What a treat. Great Christmas beer, but I can obviously see this bee delicious at any time, especially in winter. Similar to ABT12, there are resemblances, but this is it’s own beer through in through with the butterscotch being the star.

750 ml bottle had this many times but never rated it. Apperance is muddy brown with plenty of head and good retention. Aroma is cinnamon, fruit cake, and rasin bread. Taste is clove, nutmeg, cinnamon, followed by raisins some malty sweetness and a touch of light bitterness. This is a classic, my favourite Christmas beer.
