Big three fingers of head, a dark reddish/brown colored body. Smells of pine, caramel and overripe plums. Quite malty and the accompanying sweetness. A bit of lemon at the end, but not really bitter. Some plum and banana in the mix too. Great balance and flavors. Medium body, slightly sticky texture. Carbonation on the high end. Can’t go wrong with this beer, though the high carbonation did detract from the otherwise amazing experience.

Dark cola brown with a dense tan head of very tiny bubbles. Aroma is rich cola notes, and taste is the same, with slight cherry funk on a strong dark base. Can’t believe I’ve had it so many times, and am just rating it now. VGF #2, she made a funny face

Had this one stewing for over a year. Finally. Racked it open. Pours a rosy brown with lees cloud. Thinner head that breaks down rather fast. Nose of brown sugar, malts and prunes. Similar taste of carmel malts, dried fruits, booze and mild yeast. A little thinner on the palate than I expected but a very nice beer.

Pours dark brown with creamy head. Aroma is raisin, caramel, some sourness, light grass. Taste follows and is quite complex - some sweetness, raisin, spices. Super good beer!
