Just phenomenal. The Blegians really know how to brew a christmas ale - everything about the flavor character here is quintessentially christmas, and one of the most warming, comforting beers you’ll drink. There’s no syrupy texture, no nauseating cinnamon, just expertly balanced flavors like nutmeg and dried fruits that blend together to create something unique and beautiful. Don’t pass up any chance to enjoy this. However, IMO, Affligem Noel is a similar but slightly better version of this style of ale.

Pours a deep, hazy brown with an off-white head and lacing. The aroma is lots of spices like cinnamon and coriander with some dark fruit as well. The flavor is spices and rich malt up front with a solid backbone and slightly sweet finish over a heavy body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a brown colour with a head that disappears quickly. I find its a fruitier version of the 12.

It pours brown with a full head that produces a fair amount of lacing. It has an aroma of fruit and spices. There is also a bit of alcohol and malts. Finally, there are earthly notes as well. There are flavors of spice, alcohol, yeast. It does have a moderate, dry bitter finish.

750 mL bottle. Hazy Dr Pepper brown with a small beige head. Yeasty aroma. Fruity/yeasty flavour. High carbonation. Improves and fills out as it warms. Certainly not sweet, but it does sweeten as it warms. Some bitterness in the finish. Not bad, but not as good as some of their other offerings.

750 ml from the LCBO. Very aromatic, floral hops, sweet bready malt, herbal and funky yeast notes, banana. Taste follows suit, undetectable 10% abv. Very well balanced.

Wow. Bottle from Total Wine, enjoyed on Christmas eve after services. Might have to be a new Christmas tradition.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with tan colored head. Aroma is mostly fruity with spices. Plum and raisin notes with some spiciness that lingers on the palate. Rich and nuanced, I enjoyed this.
