COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Extra 4 is a classic Belgian “Single” style, light golden in color, full of flavor and character and brewed with more hops and bitterness in comparison to the other well known St Bernardus abbey ales. Extra 4 will be brewed with high fermentation and bottled conditioned with an ABV of 4.8%. Extra 4 will be a unique, tasty and refreshing spring and summer quencher with a lower alcohol content than such other popular St Bernardus products as Abt 12, Tripel and Prior 8.

Draught at Porter and Sons, Tel Aviv. Hazy amber with a frothy white head. faint caramel aroma, followed by summer fruit like peach, corriander and a little bit of grape tartness. tastes bitter, a little tarty, and leaves a dry, a little tannin-like mouthfeel. Light body and easy to drink.

Cloudy gold with fluffy white head, light esters and beeswax on nose, An abbey single, with one measure of malt. Light dry bitterness, crisp malt, spicy, intriguing – like a Tripel Light.

Bottled@hotel room. Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, rubbery and earthy. Flavour is grassy, herbal, mildly rubbery and some toffee. Almost bulk lager feeling to it, that’s how I would best describe it in a blind tasting.

Light transparent yellow with large fluffy white head and minimal lacing. Aroma is bready with citrus. Flavor is gigantic, with sharp citrus, spicy belgian yeasts and a nice dry breadiness and slight hop bitterness. Very good

330mL bottle, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes, Belgian yeast and doughy notes. Flavour is very fresh, with Belgian yeast, light floral notes, dough and bready notes. Very fresh and clean, with a high drinkability. Nothing overly complex, but really well-made. Great stuff.

That’s a lovely beer. Light blonde with a tiny covering of white head. Carbonation makes it zingy and frothy in the mouth. Belgian yeast, light malt and citrus on the nose. Taste also has a touch of honey and some peppery spice. Well done again St. B.
