Bottle. Poured brown with a creamy off-white head that leaves light lacing. Sweet aroma of fruits, malts, and a hint of spices. The flavor is also sweet with dark fruits and malt backing. Medium body, fizzy carbonation, and dry. Nice.

A hazy ruby/nutty-brown colored beer, with a off-white foamed head. The aroma of some sweets, some spicey, with notes of caramel and yeast. The taste of a little chocolate with some caramel and little dark fruits, like raisins. The aftertaste is a little bitter and dry.

Bottle (in NZ), pours a hazy reddish-brown with a filmy head. Whiskeyish oaky and smokey aroma, with hints of citrus and medicinal notes. A heavy malty palate, quite a bit of carbonation. Some sweet fruit at first, also chocolate flavours that become more obvious in the finish, which also has some of those whiskeyish characteristics again. Worryingly easy to drink!

12oz bottle. Earthy, malty nose with sweet fruits. Pours a murky bubbly brown with a big rich head. Taste is very malty with some fruit sweetness on the backend. Very well balanced. Long lingering notes of chocolate of caramel, not as strong as in the prior 8 but similar. Very very good.

Murky brown pour. dissipating white head. Malty, fruity aromas. Solid Earthy malt tones in mouth. Sweet fruit and light. slight tinge of alcohol in the finish. Nothing overly exciting but still delicious.

From a small bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a chestnut-mahogany body with a creamy medium beige head. Nutty, Christmas nose. Spicy, effervescent and piquantly sweet. Like many St. B beers, had a brown sugar signature flavor. Killer!
