Fruity aroma backed by malts, spices, light molasses, and a touch of sourness. Full bodied with lively carbonation. Very flavorful. Spicy yeast, malts, caramel, and some fruit as well. While I wouldn’t call it earth shattering it’s a very solid belgian. pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2008 cola brown pour with a medium sized dirty white head. Aroma is up front pear and heavy malt. Flavor is caramel, pear, orange, kiwi, and a bit of spice. Finishes prickly carbonated, very easy to drink for the style. No hint of any booze, lightly refreshing which is weird for the flavors I am getting. ketchepillar (478), Viña del Mar, Chile
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Beautiful head. Simple, yet complex. Or rather, there are a variety nice flavors & aromas that blend perfectly together to make one solid profile, however when analyzed delicious moderately sweet bready caramel malt lays flat and soft on the tongue, while grapes among other fresh fruits coupled with an interesting, yet very gentle yeast character floats harmoniously above. Decently smooth on the carbonation, but a tad too thin and watery. kidmartinek (975), austin, Texas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 12, 2008 Deep cloudy brown, huge tan foamy head. Strong aroma of dark sugar, malple, nut, fig, barely, and yeast. Very nice complex aroma. Flavor is like a high quality strong pilsener, with the skunky hops. Also tastes like roasted caramel barely malt, and raw brown sugar. The feel of this beer is good and refreshing, and nicely carbonated on the taste. Refreshing, full, finish with a nice bite. chimplechamp (463), Oslo, Norway

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 8, 2008 33cl bottle from Total Wine Tampa. Pours dark reddish brown with a one-finger whitish-tan head. Good head retention. Smells of fresh fruit, bread, slight sweetness, caramel, hints of chocolate. Flavor is flowers, clove, malty, bread, yeast, with a hint of caramel on finish. Nice, medium-bodied mouthfeel. Pwn3d (1053), Manhattan, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 8, 2008 Bottle from Stateline. Pours lighter than 8, but still looks great. Lots of cream, malted notes, and some familair molasses notes as well. Finish is more alcholic than the 8, also thinner. Brewer101 (162), New Jersey, USA

This one had a great pour with wonderful lacing. Its aroma was a creamy malt that also was prominent in its flavor. Overall such a great beer, a much try.
