3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle @home. Pours dark chestnut with a nice creamy white head. Aroma is spicy and alcohol (what I didn’t really expect from 6,7%). Aroma is chocolate, slight bitterness, bit sweet. Finish is dry. The alcohol is more noticeable than I expected. Nice one, but not the Abt 12.

Poured a 1 finger white head. Appearance is a murky dark copper. Some sediment. Aroma is the classic Belgian yeast and raisins. Carb is high. Taste excellent. Overall very pleased and would purchase again.

Drinking this you’d expect it to be of a higher alcohol percentage. An overall nice beer with hints of roasted nuts and chocolate.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty basic Belgian flavor, spicy yeast etc. A bit of nut flavor shines through, maybe some toast. I think this bottle is a little on the cold side. Decent, but no Abt 12.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Spicy aroma with banana, spices (nutmeg, cloves), yeast, and sweet malty notes (candi sugar, a bit of molasses). Moderately bitter taste with some sweetness and yeasty tartness. Medium-to-thin body overcome by spritzy, foamy carbonation that gets in the way. The palate simply does not cooperate. Very good otherwise.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a deep amber color with a good foamy head that fades slowly to nice lacing. Aroma of dark fruit, with bit of malt sweetness yeast and spice. Taste has a nice light malt sweetness with dark fruit mixed in and a touch of spice. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Medium body, smooth with abundant character. Very well balanced. Enjoyable beer that hit the spot.
