Rasins, yeast, and spiced aroma come to the nose. Sweet flavors, a little fruit, chocolate, and begian candi sugar with lots of lively carbonation on the tongue. A tasty brew. ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia

Dark ruby/brown coloured, medium beige head, slight alcoholic and yeasty nose. Aroma is malty and fruity (raisins, plums, figs), with slight yeasty and nice spicy notes. Pleasant fruity aftertaste.

Yeastyy nose, fruity as well... plum jam like... not that pronounced though. The taste is malt, fruits, some yeast, and some something I can’t read in my notes. Faint bitter aftertaste. Drinkable and nice. tomthompson89 (1471), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Very watery and thin in the mouth. The yeastiness took over and pounded the spices into submission. Maybe I got a below average bottle. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2006 Pours a medium brown with a big lasting frothy head. Nice sticky lacing. Aroma and flavor is spicy malt with a hint of roasted nut. Another solid Belgian ale. Rooney31 (42), USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2006 Bottle: Subtle malt aroma with touches of raison, sweet nuts, bread, honey, and caramel. This beer is very enjoyable. It has a nice body and is very well balanced. I hate to use the word smooth, since the term has been high jacked by some undeserving beers, but this beer rightly deserves the adjective. Beerdedone (1873), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
