Very fruity scent, similar to a wine. Ruby brown body with a medium white head. Sharp fruit flavors are present with the typical Belgian cottony taste.

Very fruity yeasty aroma. Weird, not unpleasant smells that remind me of cleaning products. Hazy brown with a loose head. Tart and fruity flavor with some earthy fig and cherry. Finishes moderately dry. Spritzy mouth feel.

Beige creamy full lasting head. Mahogany color. Aroma is moderately fruity with vinous, yeasty notes. Flavor is fruity with raisins, chocolate, banana and light caramel tones, ending in a caramelly long finish. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a huge off-white foamy head. Aroma of sweet raisins with the distinctive Belgian yeast. Taste can also be distinguished by the sweet malt and raisins with a candy like sweetness also present. Body is a bit too thin but carbonation is quite good. Another fine beer from a great brewery.

Every beer has its day. And Pater 6’s day was the day after Thanksgiving 2005. It was a glorious day. The sky wasblue the air was crisp. The ocean was very clear but a bit cold. We decided against the turkey leftovers and ate Pad Thai off my foot insead. Oh yeah, I forgot the beer was reddish brown in color.

Pours medium brown with a nice flluffy light tan head. Pleasant fruity aroma - grapes, apples, pleasantly sweet aroma. Taste is fairly sweet caramel, some dark fruits, with barely a touch of bitterness. Palate is fairly light. Not detecting any alcohol in the palate, but a very slight warmth in the belly. From Grapevine in Austin.

Pours dark red with a large eggshell head that leaves good lacing. Very fruity aroma, with Belgian yeast and spices. Fairly sweet at the beginning, with toffee, caramel, and raisins. The sweetness really comes through on the finish, which is excellently malty.

Deep amber color, with orange highlights and tan-colored foamy head. With some spicy notes, brown sugar, caramelized malt, fruity of figs, raisins, hint of chocolate, with a sweet malt aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a fruitiness note of figs, raisins, dates, a chocolatey accent, brown sugar, molasses, caramelized malt leading towards a sweet malty finish.
