Dark cloudy brown with a thick, light beige head. Aroma of pear, dough/yeast, noble hops and a touch of champagne. Flavor has notes of apple, caramel, light brown sugar, some dark fruit, toasted malt, light chocolate and floral hops. Pleasantly sweet, fruity finish. Alcohol content very well hidden. Medium body with soft spritzy, bubbly carbonation which mellows as it warms. Great head retention. Enjoyable.

Dark orange-amber with cream-coloured head. Loads of higher alcohols compete with a complex mixture of white pepprs, toffey, caramel and dark malts. Some fruity esters of banana an raisins gets involved as well. Somehow I think that this beer will be better if stored for a while. However, it is highly drinkable as it is!
