Cherrywood, large white head; aroma of effervescent fruits; dark fruit, bready malts, hops and a gentle sweetness combine to make this a well-balanced and really good dubbel.

Brown dark chestnut colour, medium light mokka head, sweet haye herb vanilla smell, creamy refreshing hints of caramel and red fruits, but jet a coffee like bitterness, especialy in the aftertaste, difficult to place to taste exactly, medium carbonation,

Reddish brown pour with modest fleckings of sediment. Clean, crisp head and a nose of ripe yeast and malts (though not especially heavy on the nuttiness that tends to frustrate me with some dubbels). Certainly it’s malty and has an emphasis on dark fruits, but as with the better examples of the style there’s also a good bit of brightness for contrast. Not the kind of thing I’ll go for all the time but damn solid.

Color medium brown. Smell of yeast and something light metallic aroma. Taste malt, bread and hop.
