33cl bottle from Total Wine Tampa. Pours dark reddish brown with a one-finger whitish-tan head. Good head retention. Smells of fresh fruit, bread, slight sweetness, caramel, hints of chocolate. Flavor is flowers, clove, malty, bread, yeast, with a hint of caramel on finish. Nice, medium-bodied mouthfeel.

A very nice surprize. I enjoyed this on the gold course one recent afternoon. A nice beer to enjoy as you chase a white ball around. Very heady and light to drink yet the after taste stays with you from drink to drink. I can’t wait to enjot this beer while sitting down to truely note the characteristics of this brew

Strong, immediately noticeable aroma, quite fruity. Very little head. Pours an interesting color, murky light brown. The fruit fully comes out in the taste, raisin like, definite dark fruit flavor. A bit too much carbonation for my taste. Even so, a delicious beer that I’ll be back for more of in the future.

Bottle. Pours cloudy, medium-brown, with a puffy 2.5 finger beige head, good and lasting lacing. Smells of figs, caramel, pears, and hay. Medium, velvety, crisp body. Fruit flavor, much like the aroma, with some lemon. Very mild bitterness that balances all of the sweet malt about midway through, even less bitterness in the aftertaste. Well balanced.

Nice fruity aroma with that distinctive Belgium doughy, yeast smell. Fruit is almost a raspberry smell. Cloudy dark brown/amber in appearance with a nicely balanced two finger tan head. Medium body. Slick mouthfeel, very lively. Finish is long with only a slight hint of bitterness. Flavor is of dark fruits and hops. Very nice beer. Recommended.

0.33l bottle, pale brown pour with tan head. Quite light for a "dark"; beer, fruity, sweet and caramel flavours, some malt, no alcohol. Very enjoyable and full of flavour.

Hazy brownish color topped with a decent sized off white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, with malts and a winey characteristic. Sweet and sugary tasting, somewhat fruity with malt characters. Maybe a little too sweet. Medium bodied. A good tasting beer. Perhaps not my choice if I’m having more than a couple in the same seating. Not the cheapest thing either. Seemed similar to the Chimay Premier Red I had yesterday but if forced to I’d give this one the nod. "
