Another perfect looking beer from St. Bernard. Pours a perfectly cloudy brown, with a frothy off-white head. Light lacing. Aroma is slightly sour like apple cider, chocolate and cookie dough. Flavor is strong, but not distinctive. Some initial alcohol and yeast, but mainly pit fruits and roasted malts. Palate is fairly carbonated and fizzy, but not as much as the Prater 6. Overall a very good beer.

Shared with pyrozoid. Cloudy dark copper poor with a frothy beige head, little lacing. Aromas of tangerines, apricot, caramel, slightly salty... Very well rounded and balanced mouthfeel. Creamy and sweet, medium carbonation. Amazing fuity and malty flavors... Great brew!

This only cost me only $3,99 at my local NorthCoast Coop in Eureka, CA. Poured a ruby to brown with a white head with pink tinges and mild lacing. Nose of fruit and caramel malts. Medium mouthfeel with a creamy rich palate. Flavor is complex and again of fruits and malts. Great beer.

Nice head on a reddish brown pour good carbonation.Aroma now on a half lace cover, malt, perfumed plum, port wine, floral notes, caramel, banana fresh with the malt vanilla.Flavour, plum, malt,a fair hop backing, raisin more taste than banana, has some zip in it like champagne.Dark fruits and spices make great drinks some make them well, this is not too bad but expected better.Finish fizzy, tangy, dry dark fruit taste.

Bomber, generously shared by Arthur. Pours brown with ruby tinges and a medium-sized ivory head. Aroma is of dried fruit, slight tartness, and caramel malt. Initial flavor features a rather sharp bright-fruit orange, strawberry, nectarine flavor which mellows considerably as the beer sits in your mouth. There is some delicious caramel-chocolate sweetness that blends nicely, leading to a rather complex drink by the finish. I am probably not doing justice to this beer. I’ll leave it that Prior 8 is a very good Belgian, with a dynamic flavor that will suit those who crave boldness in a beer.

Bottle 33cl. A ruby-brown coloured brew with a firm dense head. Wonderful fruity nose, slight toffee impressions. An exellent complex brew with a long satisfying aftertaste. Great!
