The aroma is sweet rain molasses malt and dark fruit in character. Dark brown cinnamon colored body with a tan full bodied head that laces nicely.Spice molasses and raisin like fruit taste and warms the throat as it goes down. I can also detect caramel and a little ginger. Despite fruitiness it seems to finish off on the dry side but certainly leaves you feeling you want more.

Nose is really nice, Belgian yeast and sweet fruit. Classic dubbel flavours, yeast, dark fruit, molasses, spicy. As good as I though it would be. I could drink lots of this.

Lively aroma of yeast, bread, malt. Deep reddish brown color with fine white head, lingers with modest lacing. Medium sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour, very tasty. Medium body, mildly creamy and sticky, with lively carbonation, long finish. Overall classic belgian dubbel, though not cream of the crop.

Bottle 33cl. Deep dark ruby brown, small frothy light tan head, recedes after a while to a thick layer, good lacing; rich aroma, sweet malt nose, caramel, raisins, figs, dark fruit syrup, bit soap, licorice, chocolate; taste medium sweet, light bitter, fruity, light spicy notes; medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation; aftertaste smooth sweetbitter, fruity notes, hints of chocolate; a really excellent dubbel, very smooth indeed.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2015 Très peu d'arômes à sentir, un des seuls points positifs reste le goût. Reste dans les classiques stouts, sans plus.

Poured from a 750ml bottle. Appearance is opaque tawney brown. Aroma of malts, Belgian yeast, and fruit. Taste is similar. Palate is not too thick. Pretty good beer, highly recommended.

Très, trop?, pétillante au palais, belle note de cacao et gout d’alcool prononcée. Une bière qu’il faut avoir bu.

Very earthy beer. Smells of caramel and the forest floor. Taste is malts, caramel, and brown sugar. Head looks like huge piles of snow outside of a hockey rink until it dissipates.
