750ml poured into a snifter, poured a rich dark browish color with little head, floral sweet smell almost like flowers, wonderful malt flavor, very smooth, nice breadlike tastes present aswell, very solid beer.

Sampled from a 330ml bottle. Murky brown hue. Beige head. Surprising citrus nose. Touch of cinnamon. Medium bodied and toasty. Sweet malts. Mild finish. Solid and short. Brown sugar smoothness. Slight burn. Lively with a good cocoa note. Sweet breads. Very nice and easy drinking.

Wow, this ale was so smooth! Very well made. Got this one on tap at 33 Winebar in St. Louis. Poured a very dark brown, almost black, with a thick white foamy head. Seemed to have little aroma, and a rather mild flavor (though so well-balanced amongst the malts). A bit sweet, but nothing overpowering at all. Overall, very excellent!

Pours a deep brown with a huge white head. Swwet malt and fruit on the nose. Sugar, rasins, plums, and sweet malt on the palate. Clean dried fruit finish.

Nice dark brown color with big, cream-colored head. Lots of malt, well-hidden hops (they can surprise you), lots of dried fruit flavors. Almost like a less intense version of Abt 12.

Classy and classic belgian. Hazy brown look with a huge head, collapsing abit faster than the nr 12 one. Aroma is rich of different esters, raisin, prunes and bananas. Palate is exploding yet velvet, allowing the different esters to show in the moutharoma aswell. Flavor is very complex, triggering all your tastebuds in an extremly plesant way. Nice warming finish and a tickling mouthfeel. Good one

330 mL bottle. Hazy medium brown with big foamy white head. Aroma of yeast, raisins, sugar, and malt. Sticky and lively palate. Taste of molasses and candy finishing with a spicy alcoholic warmth. Quite good.
