| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jun 20, 2007 Wow, this ale was so smooth! Very well made. Got this one on tap at 33 Winebar in St. Louis. Poured a very dark brown, almost black, with a thick white foamy head. Seemed to have little aroma, and a rather mild flavor (though so well-balanced amongst the malts). A bit sweet, but nothing overpowering at all. Overall, very excellent! Jvittorio4187 (255), Boardman, Ohio, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 9, 2007 Classy and classic belgian. Hazy brown look with a huge head, collapsing abit faster than the nr 12 one. Aroma is rich of different esters, raisin, prunes and bananas. Palate is exploding yet velvet, allowing the different esters to show in the moutharoma aswell. Flavor is very complex, triggering all your tastebuds in an extremly plesant way. Nice warming finish and a tickling mouthfeel. Good one badlizard (2343), Berkeley, California, USA
